These days crafting is huge... more and more people are looking for new hobbies and or to start their own home business! Soap Making is a fantastic craft, there is literally so many different aspects to it, so much to learn and try, it is a real craft in itself, you can experiment with different types of soap, colours, fragrances, shapes, twirls, layers there is so much to try and do.
Melt and Pour is a brilliant start to soap making, in fact many soapers love it so much they stay with it, others progress into cold process or hot process soaps. Melt and Pour is basically melting a pre made soap base and then customising it to your own wants, you can add colour and fragrance and pour it using various techniques to customise your soaps.
There are many books available and tutorials online that can help you learn a wealth of skills, here at The Soap House, we are going to be making help sheets and giving hints and tips on different aspects of soap making that you can use to gain your new skills, over the coming months we will be creating our tutorials in everything from getting started knowing how to melt your soap... right through to creating more complex designs such as twirls and curls. We are also going to be selling everything that the new soaper requires, we already sell melt and pour bases at some of the lowest prices that I have found anywhere online... Our prices remember include vat - our melt and pour is a very low price. We also have a range of beautiful skin safe UK Cosmetic Grade Fragrance oils which we will be adding to our website over the next week - again these will be at very affordable prices. We also have a range of moulds for sale, all of these moulds have been tried and tested by ourselves so we know that they are easy to use and produce fantastic results.
